After an amazing time drawing faces with Dina Wakley in Harrogate I am still fired up to continue!
I have used Dina's media acrylic paints and a stamp by Dyan Reaveley to create a journal page! the scribble around her reads 'No matter how she tried to hide it she was a pink girl!
I am linking this to Kim Dellow's blog of Hand drawn faces on a Friday!
YEAH you added a link! WONDERFUL face Hazel, she is so beautiful, love how you have swished her hair onto her face, your colours and shading are awesome. So glad you are still fired up and sharing your faces.

Love your faces, Hazel. She is so sophisticated, rather like Juliet Greco, although I don't think JG could ever have been called a 'pink' girl! Your background is fabulous too and I love how you incorporated the text. xxx
ReplyDeleteThis page is amazing! Love the background loads but your girl is wonderful - really loving her hair Xx
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful, Hazel - such intensity in her gaze, and even though she's a pink girl, she doesn't look like a girly girl to me - I love her!

Love her Hazel, full of expectation. Love the shading on the face and a fab background xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I adore your girl and her background. Sounds like you had fun at the workshop! Thanks so much for linking to Art It Friday - Show Your Face and for the shout out too. Hope to see you again with some more inspiration next week. Kx
