I wanted to play with tulips again because I had some brusho pages left over from my last project.
I selected another tulip stamp, the jumbo tulip from Stampendous and stamped once again with black archival. I also wanted more texture and dimension this time so I used some corrugated card for the foreground.
Next I sprayed my double page with water and applied Dyan Reaveley inks and played about dabbing and spraying until I was happy.
Then I framed the picture by stencilling leaves with inks.
I inked the corrugated card, stamped Lin's tulips in the background and assembled it. My sentiment came from somewhere in the back of my head and is a positive note from which to start 2014.
Thanks for looking.
The tulip is a fabulous stamp, and I love your double page.
