Dream Big

I made 2 New Year Resolutions, both of which I am still keeping. One was, wear the clothes that I have and stop buying more, the other, to enter more challenges.
So, here I am entering the Rubber Dance Stamps Challenge.
The theme is colours, Pink, Green and Grey. Love them.

I began in my repurposed Girl's annual and added some music pages. I drew my face shape and filled in with PaperArtsy fresco vintage lace. After this I used  combination of frescos, gelatos and Slick stix to shade and form the face.

As I painted I added some of the colour to the background.
Next, I went to some of my previous artwork which I had printed out for cutting and adding.

It has lots of flowers from Emma Godfrey's beautiful PaperArtsy stamps. I cut three out to add to my girl's hair.

Finally, I stamped something that seemed appropriate to someone with the world at their feet.
Really enjoyed this one.

  2. Well done for sticking to your resolutions for so long Hazel, I fell at the first fence as usual. You know how much I love your drawings and this is no exception, she's stunning! Sorry it's such a quick visit but I'm still on a borrowed laptop! Have a great week. Sue xx

Well done on keeping to your resolutions. I didn't make any because I knew I wouldn't keep them, lol!

  5. Hazel she is gorgeous, beautiful eyes. I love the flowers and the texture you created on her top. I keep going back and discovering more things I love. One of my favs I thinks.

So pleased you are keeping to your resolutions- up until last year I had always gone with some kind of improvement of self, to which I never stuck. However last year I chose something for me, which was to start submitting work to mags, as my goal, rather than resolution was to be published lol. Much easier! Hugs Debsxx

  6. Oh that face is exquisite! You have such talent, hazel. As for clothes, i believe in putting something pretty on everyday even if you are home alone, but stop buying more? It will never happen!
