Lots of exciting stuff as usual on the Paperartsy blog this month. Anneke's fabulous book of Holiday Memories jumped out at me.
I have adapted her idea and used on a Christmas Card.
Pushed for time at this time of year, I used some mop up papers and added one of the new PA christmas sentiments; tiny bit of glitter and a few jewels.
Thanks Anneke, I will go on to try a book when I am not so pushed for time!

Darcy Trees
The other evening on the PA blog, Gillian did a lovely trio of pennants. I love the way that she crackled them and then stamped and painted.
I decided to adapt her idea using a piece of Greyboard.
I love the new stamp about chocolate and love Darcys Christmas tree, holly and stars stamps. So here is a combo, including shrink plastic Darcy trees dangling underneath.

3 more faces
It is exactly one week since I spent a glorious day with Dina Wakley.
i am still fired up to create faces and do what she said….practise. so here are my latest 3.
i am still fired up to create faces and do what she said….practise. so here are my latest 3.
As you can see I used TH music tissue in my background and knocked it back with gesso. I then drew the girl with Stabilo pencil and washed over some of the lines. I stamped some music, stamped lace for a frame and wrote freely down her hair.
This one I drew in Stabilo onto PA Chatsworth paper and glued down some of the Times newspaper for highlights.
Same technique on Chatsworth with a page from a poetry book. bit ghostly this one, might give it a wash with something darker.
Still, I am growing and learning!
