Darcy's Christmas Tree.

Not long to go now, and here is the lovely Darcy Wilkinson's glorious christmas tree.
I have used this stamp many times and love to play with it.
Here, I have stamped it four times onto some Christmas paper stash and layered it. Inked the edges with good old Distress Vintage Photo and added watercolour pens, some Glossy Accents and Stickles. I used Pinflair Glue in big splurges to create the 3D effect.
There is still time to join in with the challenge over on the Country View Crafts blog.

Products Used:- EDY04 stamp.

  1. Great use of Darcy's tree, I don't think I've ever layered it (WHY???!!) must remember for next year - and no, I am not starting next year's yet.
    Have a wonderful Christmas xx

  4. Just love the vivid shimmering tree against the plain kraft, and the layering gives it a great touch of dimension. Fabulous texty trunk too. What a lovely use of Darcy's stamp.

Thank you for your lovely comments on all the tags so far. No magic recipe I'm afraid... you could try being deprived of most of your craft stash for most of the year, but I warn you it was tough getting back in there. And without Linda's inspiration, I'm not sure what's next! Though I am signed up for a lovely online course starting in January which I'm hoping will kick me into the next level of exploration.

  5. Did I not comment here? Surely I did... I remember what I said! Back to offer this up to you - do you know about these lovely youtube videos? Music to sing along to and everything.... I know lots of Rutter, but not this one I think, so that's a lovely new discovery, thank you.

Oh, and incase the other comment didn't make it, I just love your shimmering tree against the plain kraft and that sparkly border is brilliant!
