I cut some cotton fabric, sprayed it with water and sprinkled infusions. Limoncello on my first piece, and Royal Blood and A Bit Jaded on my second.
I used the beautiful stamps from Jo FirthYoung JOFY14, and stamped them in Coffee archival.
On the first one, I painted the flowers using fresco....Tango and Yellow Submarine, and added a little Liquid pearls.
On the second, I painted with the infusions and added Liquid pearls.
Finally, a bit of machine stitching and a hessian background.
Much prefer my second attempt, and am entering them into the PA Fabric challenge.
Gorgeous Hazel. Love the colours on your second card.
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers on both Hazel but the background on the second panel has turned out beautifully and I'm really surprised at how well painting with the Infusions turned out. I expected the walnut granules to overpower the other colour and turn it all brown but its fabulously shabby chic. I love them both and thanks formthe lovely mention. I'm honoured!

Awesome cards Hazel, fabulous image and infusions colours. Cotton and hemp are great match with the images. I love echinacea, mine's are pink and white and bloom is likely now. xx
