Art Doll

I had great fun tonight creating something a little different.
First of all, I spent hours cutting torsos, legs etc from magazines and putting them together, but it just wasn't

I finger painted a journal page using Bougainvillea, Bubblegum and Smoked Paprika....

Glued the face from a Lynne Perrella stamp.......and just messed about with Ellen Vargo's stamps to create a body!
It was partly how stupid catwalk models allow themselves to be dressed and partly how simple children's drawings are.
I had fun and was quite pleased with the finished effort! Made me smile!

Am entering her into the PA challenge!

  1. Fabulous art doll Hazel, she is very lively and brilliant colours. I love this. xx

  4. This is a fun implementation of. The idea is brilliant.

  5. What a fabulous and fun piece - she's been very cleverly put together and the bright colours really compliment her. The whole idea is so innovative, and I just love everything about her!

  6. Ooh, she's so exciting - what a great way to create drama with those paint strokes. We're working 2 - 11pm today so just time to dash round and wish you a happy Easter!
